Water Mist Extinguishers vs Water Stream Extinguishers

These two extinguishers have completely different applications. A water stream extinguisher is available in a 2 1/2 gallon size and is only suitable for Class A (paper, wood) fires. The water stream extinguisher uses regular water as the extinguishing agent. The water mist extinguisher utilizes demonized water as the extinguishing agent. Making it suitable for Class A and Class C fires (paper, wood and electrical).

High Flow Extinguishers vs Standard Extinguishers

High flow extinguishers are used in environments where highly volatile products are made or used in bulk. Such as gasoline, acetone, magnesium, etc. The discharge rate is a lot higher, dispensing more chemical in a shorter time. Giving a better chance of extinguishing the fire before spreading. These extinguishers are only required in extreme environments.
