extinguisher has been discharged the pressure seal is
broken causing the extinguisher to slowly leak pressure.

Monthly inspections might be
required at your facility depending on your insurance company and
OSHA/NFPA. Many facilities have highly volatile substances with in there
buildings. Even if monthly inspections are not required for your
facility, it's still a good idea. Anyone on your staff can perform a
monthly inspection, a license is not required to perform this task.

What
size and type of fire extinguishers are needed for my location ?
The most common fire extinguisher
is a 5lb ABC used for retail, office buildings, apartments, etc.
But, there are several factors as to the size and type of
extinguisher needed for your individual location. For example; High
Pile Storage requires a minimum 10lb ABC. Large amounts of flammable
liquids would require a 20lb ABC or larger. Metals such as magnesium
and aluminum would require a 30lb Class D (Metal X). Give us a call
