Are we required to do monthly inspection's on
our fire extinguishers ?
Monthly inspections might be
required at your facility. It typically involves OSHANFPA and/or your
insurance company. Chuck's Fire does conduct monthly inspections if
requested. If you wish
to perform your own monthly inspection. Any current employee can
conduct
this task. A license is not required, just a little knowledge. For

What type of fire
extinguisher sign is appropriate for my business ?
The type of fire extinguisher
sign depends on the application. The most commonly used signs are;
Direct Arrow Signs (directly above extinguisher), Directional Signs
(extinguisher around corner), Projecting Sign (sticks out, seen from
multiple directions). Placement & Visibility Rules OSHA/NFPA is a
requirement for all businesses.
